Muhammad Anas Yahiya, born on September 17, 1994, in Nilamel, Kerala, is one of India’s most accomplished sprinters, known for his exceptional speed and dedication to athletics. Growing up in a small village in Kerala, Anas was drawn to sports from a young age, with a particular interest in running. His talent became evident during his school years, where he began competing in local athletics events.

Anas’s big break came when he joined the Sports Authority of India (SAI) center in Thiruvananthapuram, where he received formal training and started focusing on sprinting events, particularly the 400 meters. In 2016, Anas made headlines by breaking the national record in the 400 meters, clocking an impressive 45.31 seconds.
